On August 28th local time, the Karawang 100 MW photovoltaic project, the largest onshore photovoltaic power station project in Indonesia designed and constructed by China Hubei Engineering Company, was officially completed and delivered for use. This project not only injects strong impetus into clean energy in Indonesia, but also sets a new benchmark for energy cooperation between China and India. Officials from the Indonesian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Energy and Mines, and State Power Company attended the completion ceremony.

The Karawang Photovoltaic Project is located in Bukit Inuta, West Java Province, Indonesia, covering a total area of approximately 80 hectares with a planned DC installed capacity of 100.78 megawatts. During the construction period, the project provided thousands of job opportunities for the surrounding areas and received recognition and praise from the local government, making a positive contribution to promoting economic development and employment stability in Bukit Yingda and its surrounding areas. After the project is completed and put into operation, it will provide over 150 million kilowatt hours of clean electricity annually, meeting the annual electricity needs of about 112000 households, effectively reducing local electricity costs, helping Indonesia achieve energy transformation and sustainable development, and significantly improving social livelihoods.

During the project construction period, the project team overcame many challenges such as tight schedule, shortage of local resources, and long logistics and customs clearance cycles. They advanced the construction process with high standards, achieved high-quality performance, and created a new record of the company's overseas photovoltaic projects being connected to the grid for the first time in 5 months and delivered in 7 months with first-class execution. At the same time, the project department has trained a group of excellent localized employees and achieved significant results in localized management.
